Publisher preparation draft: replace [PUBLISHER NAME] with the real responsible publisher before hosting. Review this policy against the final release. This page has not been published.
This policy describes how Suno Audio Downloader, published by [PUBLISHER NAME], handles information. For privacy, support or rights-related questions, contact support@cleffon.com.
Information processed
On supported Suno pages, the extension reads the current page URL, song titles, artist names, artwork URLs, audio links and recently loaded media-resource URLs. Its page script observes audio buffers supplied to the browser player and retains audio in memory. The script starts at page load; it can observe playback before you open the popup.
Purpose and local processing
This information displays available audio and supports preparation, download, progress, cancellation and local MP3 conversion. Encoding happens in the browser using a bundled encoder. The extension has no developer-operated conversion server, audio upload, analytics, advertising or data-sale feature. It does not intentionally send page content or audio to its publisher or another conversion service, and it does not collect passwords or account credentials.
Network requests and third parties
Normal Suno playback, artwork loading and requested downloads communicate with Suno and its media hosts through HTTPS. Those providers receive normal connection information such as IP addresses and request details under their own policies. The extension does not prevent or anonymize those requests. Chrome and the Chrome Web Store operate under their own policies.
Retention and deletion
Captured streams are retained in the song page's memory, up to three streams and 250 MB per stream. Reloading or closing the song tab clears the capture state. Format choice is kept for the tab; the extension does not persist track history. Downloaded files and browser download history remain under your control until you delete them using your browser/device. To stop future processing, disable or uninstall the extension and reload any open Suno tabs to remove already injected code.
Permissions
- Suno site access: initializes the packaged playback observer on the supported Suno domains.
- activeTab and scripting: inspect the relevant selected tab and invoke preparation, format, progress and export actions.
- downloads: save selected direct audio files through Chrome's download manager.
Limited use
The extension uses supported-page and audio information only for the audio download/conversion features described here. It does not sell data, use it for advertising, unrelated profiling, or creditworthiness/lending decisions. No human review of page or audio data is provided through the extension.
Contacting support
If you email support@cleffon.com, your message may contain information you choose to provide and will be handled through the publisher's email service. Do not send passwords, access tokens or music you lack permission to share. Before public release, the publisher must document the actual support-mail provider, retention and applicable privacy practices; this draft does not invent those operational details.
Rights and independence
This is an independent extension, not affiliated with or endorsed by Suno. A privacy policy or educational-use notice grants no download rights. Suno's current terms prohibit stream ripping outside its download channels. Content rights and platform authorization must be resolved independently.
Policy changes
Review the dated policy for the version you install. The publisher must update this policy if the release introduces new processing, services or retention practices.
